FULLY LICENSED
We are a fully licensed childcare center located on Route 6. We care for children from 6 weeks of age to 12 years. Even the youngest of our students strive in our play-based learning as well as with the curriculum, FrogStreet. We take pride in our teaching for children in this area.
Our early childhood educators are also at the upmost importance to us. We employ driven and confident educators. All staff must complete both, Maryland and FBI background checks prior to starting employment. Each age group in our center, have fully qualified staff members that meet all licensing requirements. Also, each of our aides and teachers complete yearly professional development training and are required to apply and maintain an MSDE credentialing certificate.
CHILD SAFETY / COVID-19
We are very dedicated to ensuring our children and staff stay as safe as possible. We complete daily cleaning using disinfectants. Also, masks are worn by staff when they are in close proximity of the children.
Due to COVID restrictions we are unable to have outside visitors in the center. Only staff and children are permitted inside the building. For enrollment purposes, we have the options of a virtual tour on Zoom or meeting the child’s teacher on the porch.
We complete daily health screenings for each child at drop-off. Parents provide their own under the arm thermometer and take the child's temperature. If the temperature is 100.0 or above the child will not be admitted to care. During the day, if the child develops a fever of 100.4 or above, sore throat, cough, difficulty breathing, diarrhea, vomiting, new onset headache, or new loss of taste or smell, parents will be contacted to pick-up. The child will need a negative COVID test and a doctor's note with an alternate diagnosis with return date to be admitted back into our care. We take COVID positive cases and exposure very seriously. We follow our local health department guidelines.
